Old or unsafe fuse boards swapped for a modern consumer unit with RCD protection, tested and certified.
An old fuse board with rewireable fuses or no RCD protection is one of the most common things picked up on an EICR. Replacing it with a modern consumer unit brings the protection up to current standards and makes the whole installation safer.
Steve supplies and fits the new unit, checks the earthing and bonding are adequate first, tests every circuit afterwards, and gives you the certificate. The work is notified to building control as required.
If a full board change isn't needed yet, he'll tell you. Sometimes the honest answer is that yours is fine for now.
