When something electrical stops working, whether that's a fuse board that keeps tripping, a ring of dead sockets, lights that flicker or an outdoor circuit that's given up, the job is to find the actual cause rather than just paper over it.

Steve works through it methodically, testing circuits, isolating the fault, and explaining what he's found in plain English before doing the repair. Most domestic faults are traced and sorted in a single visit.

Typical jobs include tripping RCDs, burning smells or scorched fittings, sockets or switches that have stopped working, immersion heater and shower faults, and intermittent lighting problems.
